Tonawanda Housing Authority is a NY State regulated income-based housing property located in the City of Tonawanda as part of the NYS Home and Community Renewal agency.
Monthly Board Meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm. A link for upcoming Virtual Board Meetings is posted on the Lobby Bulletin Board and on our website.
Colin Kelly, Arthur Albright and Jacob J. Guzzetta Senior Citizens Buildings make up the Tonawanda Housing Authority structures, bordered by Gibson, Dodge, Hinds streets and Proy Avenue.
Our property consists of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom apartments, and 2 Senior Living buildings with a total of 253 units for rent. As of January 1, 2019, all apartments are smoke free and no smoking is allowed in public spaces, apartments, offices and walkways and porches.
We operate under the guidance of New York State office of Housing and Community Renewal and are independent of the City of Tonawanda or the Tonawanda Towers.

Our office will be closed on January 19th, February 16th, April 3rd, May 25, June 19, July 4th, September 7, October 12th, November 11, 26th and 27th, December 24, 25th and 31st, January 1, 2027.

Mission
To provide for the basic shelter needs of lower income individuals and families. And to provide those living accommodations in a safe and efficient manner under the guidelines of the New York State Housing Codes, Rules and Regulations. We receive no funding for daily operations from the City of Tonawanda, Erie County or NYS.
